The book provides a nice insight into continuous delivery practises. It goes into a lot of detail about the benefits, example CD pipelines and how to implement pipelines with tools that were available when this book came out such as Hudson (now Jenkins). It's a nice book if you're completely new to the subject, but given what we practise daily there's nothing really new in there.
